An Understanding of Divinityby Dr. Diane M. RousseauApril, 2006 For each person to understand their divinity, they must experience the inner sanctuary in the heart; called the Inner Kingdom—known as the experience of "Silence." Meditation is the "key" that unfolds the heart daily, giving new and profound understanding into the depths of ones very self. If we understand ourselves, we will see others in an unlimited Light and live The Eternal Truths. Without action, kindness is only a word, without the experience of selflessness, one does not understand the joy received in the process of giving. Without love in the highest sense, one cannot know forgiveness. Without knowing God as a living Presence within ones own Being one does not know themselves. One who experiences the "I" within as the Living Spirit knows there IS Eternal Life. What is it within each person that has value? It is the "I". Understanding Your DivinityIt is Knowing in your heart you will do the right thing for the right reason. It is the realization that everyone has different levels of understanding and it must be wisdom that guides the heart. It is living with compassion and knowledge knowing there can be unity in diversity.It is loving for the sake of loving and giving for the joy of it. It is seeing each person as a child of God regardless of race, faith, or creed. It is having the discrimination and compassion to allow another person to be who they are while you continue on fearlessly. It is knowing that all life is sacred and that animals are our little brothers and knowing all of nature IS our family. It is being "Aware" and thinking with the heart while loving with the mind. It is living in the Kingdom while being on earth and bringing the love from Heaven into each day. It is "being" peace to create peace. It is living as an example of love, and remembering those who through sacrifice come down through the ages to inspire a life of Divine love. It is Living the "Christ."
