A Report on Maharishi's World Press Conference

In watching the last three Maharishi Satellite Press Conferences this September, I am amazed this information has not yet reached the public forum.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi came out over 50 years ago with the Transcendental Meditation Programs for the whole world and spoke about God and the ‘naturalness' of experiencing bliss and transforming one’s life. At 93 years of age, Maharishi is still intense and continues to speak of the Light of God and Heaven on Earth. The following is a small amount of the information that Maharishi just gave to the public concerning the shift of consciousness that we are seeing....

Vedic means: Full of the knowledge of Natural Laws. We in the West also refer to these as the Laws of 'Cause and Effect', the Divine Universal Laws. Maharishi spoke about our role in the current climate of change. He said, "We are candle light by candle light in Atma, (The Supreme Being); we are lights in the field of darkness, creating lotuses in the mud and spreading the Light of God." His love for humanity is unceasing and he wants everyone to experience Peace on Earth. He also added that he does not want money, he wants World Peace.

Maharishi is dynamic, speaking directly and asking people to tell the World Press that, "In months, not years, there will be no negativity to report." He added that the light is darkest before the dawn, and in months, the Light of God will be everywhere. Maharishi stated that one attracts to themselves what they send out, adding that it does not matter if one believes this or not. He then said to read in your Scriptures, "As you sow, so shall you reap." Maharishi also said when one understands that within is the Light and sees and experiences this in themselves; they will then see God in their life. No matter what darkness may be outside, shine this Light, and be peaceful inside.

By meditating daily, bliss is experienced and this carries into all facets of life. Also, by the daily practice of self referral which is the understanding of the Universal Laws, each person can know that each day is a new day to recreate a beautiful lotus. He added that as one wounds the laws of nature, which is the Will of God, one will receive in kind what they have done. By reflecting deeply, each person can change right now within and replace any wrong doing with something positive from their heart. The love from the heart will transmute any actions one has done; there is always forgiveness if it is asked for sincerely. One can then see themselves as a positive being, as a force for good and little by little, knowingly or unknowingly they will change for the better. Maharishi added that we are graced by the Divine Laws which operate in the Galactic Universe.

In the last 50 years, Maharishi has revived the Universal Teachings of the Vedas. This knowledge affects every area of life, every aspect of Spirituality, health and happiness. A person becomes self governing with Meditation, which is based on Spiritual Science. He is asking people to support their own life, lead a healthy life with organic foods and Meditate. He says to remember that you are Divine within and shine the Light of God and see your life with common sense.

Maharishi stated that the whole world must take a lesson of what happened to America. Each person must change their life from the level of peace within themselves. He said in months, we will see the rise of possibility, harmony, fulfillment and the absence of problems everywhere. He said "darkness and wrong will disappear." Again and again Maharishi said, "Watch and see, there will be Heaven on Earth now, there IS the Light of God and we will see it. It will not be years, but months. Not in 2050, not in 2030, not in 2010, but NOW."

The Vedas are the most ancient Scriptural Texts attributed to the Rishis of ancient India. Maharishi's Teacher was the late Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, JagadGuru Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath who passed in 1953 at age 83.

In India there are four Shankaracharya Math's which are the Spiritual seats, North, South, East and West. Jyotirmath is the Highest Spiritual seat in North India and before Guru Dev, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, it had been vacant for almost 200 years. In 1941 at age 71, Swami Brahmananda held this venerable seat of Shankaracharya for 12 years until his passing.

Maharishi was with Guru Dev for 13 years until His passing in 1953. Out of deepest love for humanity, Maharishi began the Spiritual Regeneration Movement (SRM) for global enlightenment and peace in India in 1955; known today as the TM Movement.
